Ah HA, captured!

Me too. If I believed I could do anything - I would have gone in to the acting thing. On the other hand, life has given me experience, and now I know I could major in philosophy, comparative religion, therapy, acting, minor in music, be a writer, traveler, healer...there's still the 2nd half of my life.
> Anyway, I just wanted to touch base and answer some of your questions. It's good to hear from you, even when it's from Pete.
*grin* Don't be a recluse - write me once in a blue moon.
Cheryl Moore
"Me again. Right after I tell you how much I love to write, I stop
writing. No excuses, just a bad case of writer's block or
something I guess. First things first. Go ahead and post
my email address. I've always suspected that if I showed
up at one of these reunions and introduced myself all
around everyone would think I was the waiter. Back in
the good ol' days of high school I was pretty much a recluse. Anyway it
will be interesting to see what happens.
I doubt if I will be going to the reunion. For one thing, it's almost 1000 miles away, and I don't pass through LC that much these days. I am interested in the updates and the emails and stuff tho'. I remember Pete Christos when he was Pete Tannor on Tondalea Lane. He was another Palm Crest Alumnus. I remember he was always great at everything he did, especially sports. Kind of a man's man (or I guess, considering the age, a boy's boy).
I read through the entries on your page and (in most cases) it brings back lots of memories. In some cases I sit and scratch my head and wonder where I was during that time.
OK... now back to the letter. You must've been having a better time than I was if you can't remember if you went to grad night or not. My girlfriend at the time was Evy Bogen, a PHS student. She came and visited LCHS a few times but I doubt if you met her, or if you met her, I doubt if you remember her. We were together for 3 years after high school. Scott married her sister (his first wife)
I remember Irene. It's interesting the path she chose. I often play the "what if..." game with myself. Don't get me wrong, I have no regrets about having kids, there have been many wonderful experiences and given the choice, I wouldn't change anything, but I still wonder sometimes what things could be different.
Anyway, I just wanted to touch base and answer some of your questions.
It's good to hear from you, even when it's from Pete.
Take care, MSH"
"Cheryl, We do have a Sept. deadline but that is the latest people can reply without
paying a higher amount. We really need to get reservation money in ASAP because we need to pay deposits on music, facility, etc. Maybe you can pass
the message on when you see the chance. Thanks, Sue Reid"

Mesnard is my sister. She still lives near Littleton. If you would
like me to give her your address, or number, let me know. I don't think she
has a computer that can log onto the internet, but I can be a go-between.
Let her know that I have a 30th high school reunion webpage that
includes memories of jr hi and elementary. I never forgot her trying to teach
my twin, Carol, and I how to fast dance for the school dance.
I don't feel the need for her to contact
me, but I wanted to let her know she was remembered. Her jr hi pic is here
too:

I'm Cheryl (Moore) Miller.
Give her my best wishes!
"Cheryl, I can only
assume that there is some need on the part of the committee to be able
to either estimate the size of our group or to place some type of a deposit
for the facilities. I'm sure there will always be those who will wait until
the last minute, so if those who are able to send their money now do so it has to help. Pete"

"LOL! Now that I think of it,
Pete is, ahhhhh, right. It was St. Francis that got
their clock cleaned by TC. Sorry for the confusion. My
bad! Little Joey:)"

"Have you heard anything from
?
I haven't heard from him in years.
was in Indonesia in 1998 doing missionary work. He was also working
on his doctorate degree through a distant learning program. Last
time I spoke with him, he was going to be coming over to the US to fulfill
his residency requirement in 2000 (I think). In 1998, I went to
Malaysia (with my family) where I was a visiting professor
for Purdue University at the Institute of Technology Tun Hussein
Onn. It was an exciting experience where I taught future "junior
college" lecturers about pedagogy and educational technology."
My wife, Kathy Klink-Zeitz, and my three sons, Wes (19), Jeff (17), and
Chris (15), have lived in Cedar Falls, Iowa, since 1992. Took a little
time to get used to the snow (no, we don't use tire chains in the
MidWest), but I can handle living amid mounds (no mountains in Iowa)
of frozen wastelands now (for about a month). =-)
Technology is my bag. I have Ph.D. in Curriculum
and Instruction with a specialization in Computers
in the Classroom. I have been doing it for 20 years.
Thanks for doing such a great job of organizing this webpage. I have decided to fly out in October to enjoy the reunion as well. Your friend, Leigh"
