"Dear Cheryl: I went to La
Canada Elementary from K through 5 just like you. My
teachers were: Kindergarten: Miss ? 1st:
Mrs. MacIntyre (can't remember the spelling, but I think that's close)
2nd Mrs. Anderson 3rd Mrs. Higbee (that
was a 3rd & 4th grade class combined because there
were just a few too many in each class to hire another teacher) 4th
I hated this teacher so much I blocked out her name. But Sandra Wallace,
and Louise Hansen were in the class with me. 5th Mrs.
Crane (Anyone remember Mike Mahee?) Also at La Canada
Elementary were: Jay Muller, Dean Benedict, Dorothy Brinegar,
Jim Burke, Michael Collins, Craig Cornwell, Linda Delawter, Joyce
Fleming, Roxanne Foley, Susan Fuller, Maureen Garvey, Gayle Greene,
Tim Griffin, Louise Hansen, Kim Haycox, Scott Honsberger, Greg Jensen,
Gayle MacGregor, Michelle McGrath, Greg Mitchell, Kathy Moore, Marilyn
Osoff, Margaret Pankratz, Julie Pejsa, Jeff Peters, Casey Quinn, Tom
Rogers, Diana Sanders, Trinka Sandquist, Jean Sommerville, Craig Stoddard,
Nita Walker, Sandra Wallace, Scott Williams, & Susan Wix. That's
all I can remember at the moment. I remember now I had
Kindergarten with Miss Jacobs. Still can't remember
that Nazi of a 4th grade teacher though."

post it. Hope vacation was wonderful. I'm on jury duty
these days. Yuk. Not online much."

Tahoe last year. 
The website is coming along well. I wish I had more
pictures of Foothill Intermediate School. Maybe more people will find the
LCHS Class of 1971 website and get motivated to find old photos. You have
been doing a fantastic job of putting together a lot of great memories.

First of all, it was a mountain bike, second, it was the Ortega
Pass, third, I was with two guys, both over 25!! And
fourth, I had to fight off a mountain lion while the
helicopter was landing, with a water bottle...squirted
him right in the eye..blinded the cat and took off!!

07/04/2001 " Hey Jon Eben! Great to hear from you, dude. I always wondered what happened to you. You were a great guy in LCHS. Nice to hear your father and sister are doing well. So you are up in the San Joachin Valley (a little bit of Nebraska, right here in California!). Do you live in Fresneck (as in redneck) or is it Frestucky. Let me guess. You own a pickup with a gun rack and two dogs. And all your best friends are dirt farmers. LOL!

Why don't you tell everyone about how last year you went
dirtbike riding in the hills down there near Dana Point.
And how you crashed your motorcylce and had to be
Medivaced out of there in a helicopter. Don was with a
friend who is in his 20's. The 'old dude' was trying to
keep up with the kid and splat! Donnie, you might
consider one of those motorized wheel chair things. At
you age it might be a lot safer and you will save the
taxpayers from having to pay for your helicopter
rides:(). "
07/01/2001 "Hi all you LC Spartans! I just read through all the messages and saw lots of old friends. You guys were all very cool back in the day to show me the real LC when I moved there as a senior. Lots of good memories in these pages which is what moved me to write. For all of you who were trying to recall the TC game...Pete's right..it never happened! Those 800 or so yards that LARRY Mushinski gained never happened...Looking up from the ground to see yet another TC back going 60 yards for 6 never happened and those cleat marks all over my back never happened! And for that matter...does anyone remember the second half of the South Pas game? Me neither!
All of us Eben's have homed in on the San Joaquin....most of the family in the education business (Jeff is a high school principal and Suzi is a vice-principal) Papa Nori just retired as the mgr of Black Lakes GC in Nipomo and is now teaching lessons and playing lots.
I've been in the music biz as a guitarist/singer/songwrither for 30 years and have been in countless bands and performed in just about every sleaze
hole in the world! I gave all that up about 4 years ago and got myself a house and put a studio in and I have been busy recording all my
original material. I have two daughters (20 and 13) who live with me and go to school in Clovis and suddenly life is very homey. I'm looking
forward to hearing all of everybody's bs at the reunion and it looks like it's going to be interesting hearing some of the creative history
that has been spun in regards to those mythical days of the early 70's.

wonderful, awesome time. What an amazing memory she has, going all the way
back to 1st grade about many of us.

pictures, but I just spent some time reading and seeing
photos of LCHS..and I thought every one forgot all
their stories. Well what a great way to reconnnect, reunite, remember,

"Thanks for looking out for me. I got your letter -- and yes, you are
right, my company, National Security Concepts, performs studies and analysis
for the Department of Defense and the CIA. (I have practiced law in the past,
but that's not what I'm doing just now.) I may be changing jobs soon, however;
