. . and it would help me to enjoy the reunion more if I can drum up some
more memories to go with the names I recognize.
I would think just seeing me again would be
enjoyment enough.
LOL,
I have a feeling there is going to be a good time had there.
04/24/2001 You right about the photos. I can't find my
yearbooks. I think 1 ex wife to many might be the problem.
I would be glad you link to your site, we can
work together and build out this one. What ever you'd like.
I should proof read what I type. That last
sentence is missing a word of two. I was trying to say I
eat lousy. Not Susanne's fault.
"My papa is a bad person"

Yes, August is a must. I've been thinking alot about high school the lastcouple of days. I'm glad you were brave and emailed me as well.
From: Scott Fuller [mailto:sjfuller@e-znet.com]
If it has microwave instructions, that works for me. But then, thats about what
I look too.
Wha?
You wierdo. Your sense of humor seems to be bringing a sense of deja vu
regarding high school.
Let's keep in touch and make August happen.
So glad I went ahead and emailed you hi.
"Just finished my part on a new site we host for Vanguard Records. Let me know
what you think. Susanne did the Flash opening. Yes, we
both work on websites. I don't think I mentioned that
before. She does the foregound and I do the background.

Yes we're a team. It her turn to be boss this year. She better at it then I'll ever be. Hey, I play a little guitar myself, if you want to call it that. Mark and Susanne can talk cooking. If it has microwave instructions, that works for me. But then, thats about what I look too."

Lol, age brings wisdom.
I'm Mark's 3rd. He doesn't really count his first - but I do. I had to laugh. At 3 years living with me he was amazed - it had been his longest relationship.
04/18/2001
Your husband must have book learning. If you'll recall, formal education and
myself never got along. I'm self taught. So, when I meet your
husband, don't let him ask me any hard questions. These
have not been good days for the internet work force and I
don't talk to many happy people lately.
The sites I build involve database connectifity, I can say it, but can't spell it. I program in Cold Fusion.
Wife number 3, Susanne, has put up with me for 10 years. I'm beginning to think it maybe me.
04/18/2001
I met Mark 6/5/92 on blind date. He was in to computers since 1977. Thru the
90's he got me and all kids in to computers. I designed and marketed webpages
as a side job for awhile. Now I just manage the families' webs. I can be on
the computer for hours (like today moving to a new domain mbwfamily.com).
It was easy for me having a computer whiz in the family to get in to the computers. How was it getting in to web design?
Married?
04/18/2001
Well I think I was lucky to get paid at all as I remember. It's funny, I was
telling my daughter, Laurel about 2 weeks ago about those long
long almost forgotten days and your wedding. She is nine,
and my story put her right to sleep. You be real honest,
I'm foggy back any further than 10 years. This is fun. Where
does your family hang their hats these days? I work for an ISP in South
Pasadena as the systems administrator. I was doing graphic design for about
15 years and got into the internet in 1994, which explains why this keyboard
is attached to the end of my fingers. What's your excuse?
04/18/2001
I'm
hoping to take kids to the La Canada high school football game. Since we're
attending my teenagers' high school football games, I want to share mine. We
plan to be at reunion.
I don't think I ever told you that I was so relieved and appreciative when you
joined me to finish getting the creative dramatics performance together - the
elementary kids.
Still doing (was it voice overs or something) at opera in Pasadena? I'm very
foggy on that.
I was wondering about you. I always wanted to ask if my father paid enuf to you for taking the wedding pics.

"Well, the bad news is that is the date of USC vs
Notre Dame. The good news is that it is at Notre Dame this
year..."

"Hi Cheryl! Yes, the Madonna incident
is true. I used to go to art openings more than I do now,
but I tell that story as an excuse not to good sometimes.
Madonna might be there and she might start a scene.
I enjoyed your bio. Seems like you have been through some
stuff, but you have definitely fixed it. The work you do
is awesome... I followed you lead in taking about what is going on in
my life. Just thought it would be fun. Happy that you
liked it. I think I am in the midst of a career change.
The Art Institute of Los Angeles is where I ended up
enrolling. It is not a done deal yet, but if it works out
that will be where I'll be for the next two years. Well,
you look like a happy mom. Kids and everything. (I haven't
come close to getting married). Guess women are pretty
picky around here. Take care, and let's stay in touch.
Sincerely, Joe Melendrez ps
My computer is down so any emails might not get thru for a
week or so. Bye"

"Thank you so much. That was a real treat. I can still see in my mind's
eye your mom at high school, still see your dad at the house across the
street, see you, your brother and sisters. Good memories.
Weren't you the ones said you were related to President's John Adams and John Quincy Adams as our family was?
I took advantage of ancestry.com free access 12/2000 and put together our ancestry.
My father's first cousin, Maurine Ryan, danced with Eddie Cantor, and said the famous silent movie star Owen Moore was her first cousin. I'm still trying to find my connection to Owen Moore (I found his brothers and all their spouses - can't find the actors' parents) 1st husband to Mary Pickford.
http://www.mbw-nv.com/album/silentfilmstars.htm
I haven't found my connection to President John Adams and John Quincy Adams that paternal grandmother Emma Adams claimed. I found her father, Joseph Adams, born in Alsace France, and haven't been able to go back further on him.
I found direct Dutch ancestors to 1600's and volumes of Dutch cousins to the 1400's.
It took awhile, but I finally found the direct Scotch ancestors , and am in touch with Scotch cousins.

I'm Scotch, Irish, Dutch, English, German, and French - I actually found the ancestors to support that:

My best to you and all your family."

" What a pleasant surprise to receive email from you.
Classmates is a good service - I have received messages
from Kathy Morris and Doug Hartwell. Do you remember
them? Sorry I haven't replied sooner, but I have been on
vacation since July 3 and have been trying to stay away
from my email. It CAN be addictive.
We have been in California for a family reunion at San Clemente and visiting
UCSB and UCSD for my middle son, Jeff.
Your recollections about high school were interesting. Yes, I had a red
MG Midget in high school. I bought it from a neighbor for $325.
What a deal!! I do remember asking you to go to the prom
after dropping you off from some event (probably drama).
It was disappointing, but life goes on . . . You
asked why I didn't laugh when you were sitting on my lap in that party
game? I only vaguely remember a party like this (probably drama) but
you should take it as a complement that I didn't laugh. If I had, it
would have meant that I would have lost your company.
Thinking about it, we were in school together since kindergarten weren't
we?
Thanks for remembering what I was doing 20 years ago. Yes, I was a teacher
in a probation camp in Malibu then. I left that and spent a year
in educational publishing. After a year of that, I returned to teaching
in a drop-out recovery program in Montebello Unified School District.
Along the way, my wife and I earned our masters degrees. In 1989, I quit
the job, we sold our house and moved to Eugene, Oregon, where I got my
PhD in Educational Technology. I am presently a professor at the University
of Northern Iowa. We have 3 boys ages 14, 16, & 18. Can't
say that I remember what you were doing 20 years ago. Please don't
take offense for my absent-mindedness, but it is professional handicap
for many of us in my chosen profession. Hope to hear
from you, Leigh"
"My
kids and stepson are grilling me now, "Why are you laughing? Who are you
emailing? Who is this guy? Describe him!" Lol, my stepson thinks he
has to protect his father's interest. My husband's not the jealous type and
he's very social. He'll appreciate my hearing from a high school friend."
