I thought I was going to have to buy yellow stationary and a green pen to make invitations like Harry Potter received. Then I got the bright idea to create a webpage, and print it. It didn't print the background color. Luckily I asked my MCSE husband, and he said I could change something in my browser so it would print the colored background. I'm fortunate that I have a color printer. I created a webpage for each invitation and printed them. Whew! I was glad I didn't have to handprint all of them.

The 2nd page of the invitation was the class supplies list.
The 3rd page of the invitation was the marauder's map

I wrote marauder's map on the back.

The 4th page of the invitation was a piece of paper with the definition of marauder on it:

ma·raud (m-rôd)
v. ma·raud·ed, ma·raud·ing, ma·rauds.
v. intr.

To rove and raid in search of booty.

The 5th page of the invitation was a train ticket.  I got the gif off harrypotter.com.

All the pages were paperclipped together.

I made a webpage with this background color and printed them, folding them in to large envelopes.  I printed address labels and pasted them on the envelope. I glued the Hogwarts symbol on the back of the envelope to seal it.
